How long does conveyancing typically take?
Property transactions usually take 8 to 12 weeks, depending on the chain and any issues that emerge during searches or surveys. We keep you updated at each stage and work to avoid unnecessary delays.
What's involved in probate?
Probate is the legal process of administering someone's estate. We handle applications to the court, identify assets, pay debts and tax, and distribute what's left according to the will or intestacy law. The timeline varies, but we guide you through every step.
Can I change my will?
Yes. You can amend it by deed, or write a new one entirely. It's often worth reviewing your will if your circumstances have changed — marriage, divorce, children, significant assets — or every ten years or so. We're happy to discuss whether a change makes sense for you.
Will I speak to the same solicitor throughout my matter?
Yes. That's how we work. You'll deal with the solicitor handling your case from start to finish, which means they know your file inside out and you build a working relationship with someone who understands your situation.
